Let's start with a commonly asked question: WHAT IS AROMATHERAPY?
~Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. Because I am not a certified expert in essential oils or aromatherapy, I'll leave you to read about these products and their benefits to make the best decision for you & your family. Suffice it to say, I am a fan.
Additionally, as someone with terrible allergies and asthma, I find myself NOT bothered by QUALITY essential oils. What makes essential oils top quality? When they are responsibly sourced, contain no GMOs, contain no Parabens, and definitely contain no Artificial (manufactured) Fragrances. Serene House USA sells not only quality devices/diffusers, but quality oils. Every oil they sell meets these criterion.
Serene House has a lot of unique products that were offered to serve multiple purposes for my family. Let's take a second and look at each of the three products I tried below. I'll include a brief description of each, followed by a video review.
The Vulcan II - What is it? An ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser with the added functions of music playback, serene lighting, and a timer. All of which can be easily controlled via the included remote control. While this has the added benefit of adding some moisture to the air, please be aware it should not considered a humidifier. Because of the moisture it adds to the air, and depending on the inherent humidity of your home, I suggest placing this on a towel for the first night's use to assess how much humidity the device will produce in your home and on your counter top or dresser. This product has the most features of any diffuser I've ever experienced. It has built-in spa music, it can play your own music, it will enhance the ambiance of the room with lighting, and it covers a great amount of space/square footage. The other thing I have to call out is the quality of materials. From the packaging (which is superb), to the product itself, they don't cut any corners. Period. This unit is made of ceramic (essentially the same as porcelain). They components they include are well thought out, and that beautiful frosted top is glass. It's not cheap plastic, it's thick and durable frosted glass!
The Oval - What is it? An electric (no flames!), ceramic wax melt warmer with soft white lighting. This is for use with Serene House's SERENE PODS... which are, AMAZING! I just love this product and think it's brilliant. Watch the video for more details, and then go get one. There is NOTHING else out there that compares. Stunning, functional, safe, and pretty! The Duke - What is it? A well-thought-out car scent diffuser. Like all of their products, this comes in multiple colors (black & white.) There are a few things that make this car diffuser unique. I'll start with the application of the oils. Instead of making a mess by dripping oils into a metal plate, you add 4-6 drops of your preferred scent onto the included ceramic disc. The disc acts like a sponge, absorbing the oil. Then you place the disc into the unit's head, which is secured by placing the stainless steel cover. (Side note: have you noticed the quality materials they use in ALL their products - glass, ceramic, stainless steel...?) You plug this into your cigarette adapter, and that's it. It will power on when your car is running (with a warm light to alert you that it's powered on), and each disc will last at least a month with regular use. The last think I want to mention is the thoughtful inclusion of a joint. This can be used straight (pointed at you), though it's designed to use as little space as possible without compromising quality or style. You just bend it upward and off you go. The Oils & Waxes - I would be remiss if I didn't include a comment and a link to their scents. As I mentioned in the first video, ALL of their essential oils are quality oils that are responsibly sourced. Overall, I am very happy with these diffusers AND the oils. In truth, it's very rare you find a company that offers one-stop-shopping for aromatherapy devices and oils. until now I was mixing and matching brands, which is fine, but for convenience and consistency, I prefer being able to only go to www.SereneHouseUSA.com.
